Clubfoot Community

I was a very large baby born with clubfoot in the right leg. I had a surgery that lengthened my achilles tendon, aparently no one can seem to tell me very much about it I do have baby pictures where I’m wearing a cast and I was told I learned hot to walk with a brace that had a bar from one shoe to the other. When I was about 13 years old they discovered that I also had scoleosis which apparently goes along with the territory of having clubfoot. I was told the scoleosis was non progressive only to find out 20 years later that it is progressing. I am also very athletic, I run and due to my ankle inflexibility I often get stress fractures in my shins, but you cant let those things stop you from enjoying the things you love.
