Thanks for joining the Clubfoot Club! It is wonderful that this support is becoming available. So many people who have been treated by posteromedial release surgery in the past have ongoing issues. These patients have no where to turn. The surgeon says there is nothing more surgically to be done and sends them away. I’ve taken my son (now 17) to a few other Doctors but no one knows what to say other than that he should make sure he chooses a career path where he won’t be on his feet all day.

The best support I’ve given to new parents is to point them to the Ponseti Checklist so they understand what the correct method of treatment should be.
